She is survived by: her husband Julius Johannes; her children, Randall (Jennifer) and Susan (Doug Zimbleman); her grandsons, Andrew (Ashley) and Jeffrey Johannes; and her sister-in-law Bernice Markus. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers and if friends wish, a donation can be made to Calvary Baptist Church or to the Pueblo Zoo as she was a lifelong supporter.
