He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Karl and Jane K. Moench (Egelhoff); his siblings, Les Moench, Lou Schurtz and Phylis Egan; and his grandson Joe Pryor.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Darlene Moench of La Junta, Gordon Moench, Jr. of Canon City, Laurie Zele (Frank) of Aguilar, CO and Lydia Moench of Golden, CO; and his siblings, Tim Moench of Columbus, OH, Janie Kaeser of Ashland, OH and Debbie DeWees (David) of Hilliard, OH. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
