He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Shane (Hamm) and Arthur Shane; and also Mickey Dorsch (Alex). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Courkamp; his daughters, Janelle Stedman (Jeff) of Longmont, CO, Jennifer Shane of La Junta, CO and Dana Smith of Phoenix, AZ; his grandchildren, AJ Stedman (Adena), Patrick Stedman (Taylor), Mason Swenor and Logan Swenor; his great grandchildren, Elnora and Maeven Stedman; his sister Connie Shane; and his friend Ernestine Gonzales.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gary's name to Sangre de Cristo Hospice (Sangre de Cristo Community Care - Southern Colorado's Leader in Hospice Care) or to Valley Community Church, 27435 County Road 22 75, Rocky Ford, CO, 81067, direct or through the funeral home.
