She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Chavez (Emilio Esquibel) and Domingo Chavez; and her siblings, Domingo "Junior" Chavez, Luciano "Al" Chavez, Gloria Chavez and Dorothy Gutierrez.
She is survived by: her husband Emilio; her sons, Manuel "Manny" DeLeon of La Junta and John Esquibel (Amy) of Pueblo West; her grandchildren, Aidan and Ezra Esquibel; and her sisters, Sadie Sandoval, Stella Torres, Maggie Medina (Eulojio) and Ramona Chavez of La Junta. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
