He was predeceased by: his parents, Matilde Martel and Mary A. Ortega (Aragon); and his siblings, John Miera, Stella Werick, Roberta Gonzales, Manuel Ortega and Rudolph Ortega.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Lou Draughn, Gloria A. Anderson, George Ortega, Wilhelma Martinez and Eugene Chavez. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
