It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erlene Schlegel of La Junta, Colorado, who passed away on May 7, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vivian Lorene (Hartzler) and Earl Joseph Roth; her husband Solomon "Salty" Schlegel; her son-in-law Rocky Mosher; and her brother-in-law Fred Piatt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sally Mosher of Rocky Ford, CO, Christine Laurent (Mike) of Rocky Ford, CO and Lisa Chaney (Bart) of Erie, KS; her siblings, Lena Piatt of La Junta, CO and Galen Roth (Marie) of Harrisonville, MO; her sister-in-law Gatha Roth of Peculiar, MO.; her grandchildren, Kayla Resendes (Angel), Tylor Laurent (Toni), Catlin Laurent, Cody Laurent, Heather Chaney and Collin Chaney; and her great grandchildren, Chloe, Trever and Eloise Laurent.
