It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eloisa Esquivel (La Junta, Colorado), born in Las Vegas, New Mexico, who passed away on October 7, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vicente Max and Catherine Sandoval (Sanchez); her spouse Cesar Esquivel Martinez; her children, Margarito Aragon, Thomas Aragon and Linda Aragon; and her siblings, Fernandez Sandoval, Ignacio Sandoval and Beatrice Baca.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Aragon of Commerce City, CO, Joe Aragon (Inez) of Hayes, KS, Clara Aragon of Rocky Ford, Gloria Maestas (Bobby) of Rocky Ford, Sally Rodriguez (Ken) of Rocky Ford and Beatrice Jones (DeShaun) of Rocky Ford; her grandson Shayne Aragon; and her siblings, Herman Sandoval (Fina) of La Junta, Della Esquibel (Victor) of Mora, N. M. and Mary Sanchez of Las Vegas, N. M.. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren and six great, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
