He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Gierhan and Esther Gierhan (Schuknecht); and his siblings, Marvin, Wilmer "Willie" Gierhan and Rogene Kohtz.
He is survived by: his wife Dorean Mindrup; his children, Michelle Adams (Roy) of Cartersville, GA and Tom Gierhan (Shelley) of Livingston, MT; his grandchildren, Ciarra, Cassia and Destiny Adams; and his son Joshua Gierhan. He is also survived by sisters.
In lieu of flowers those wishing to do so may make memorial contributions to the Ark Valley Hospice or Inspiration Field direct or through the funeral home.
