She is survived by: her spouse Lester M. Root; and her children, Linda Skorick (Ron) of La Junta, Richard Root of La Junta, Fred Root (Lynn) of Fountain, Daniel Root (Teresa) of Aurora and Tammy Wandling of Kennewick, WA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
