He was predeceased by: his parents, James Turner and Ethel Turner (Morlen); his wife Barbara Turner (Kendall); his son James Turner; and his brother James Turner Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Charles Dean Turner of Maplewood, Cindy Vasco (John) of Milliken and Barbara Westbrook; his grandchildren, Rob Hunter (Becca), Brian Hunter, Jason Chapman, Eric Chapman and Caitlin Mohl (Aaron); his great grandchildren, Charlie, Henry and Anna Hunter; and his grandchildren, Zoe, Julian, Leah Hunter, Aason, Austin Chapman, Ireland Chapman, Jimmy and Iris Mohl.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross St. Andrew Lutheran Episcopal Church (621 Raton Ave, La Junta, CO 81050).
