He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierre Carrica and Clara Carrica (Etcheverry); and his siblings, John, Joe Sr. Carrica, Mary Blakney, Gabrielle Lennon, Catherine Snow, Simone Shoemaker, Margaret Crosley and Shirley Hartless.
He is survived by: his wife Maxie Lu; his children, Pete Carrica (Patty) of Calhan, CO, Debbie Phillips (Craig) of Cheraw, CO, Larry Carrica of Colorado Springs, CO, Randy Carrica and Brenda DeLaRiva of La Junta; his grandchildren, Amy Carrica, Michelle Carrica, Jennifer Phillips-Sandoval (Kevin), Brandon Phillips (BrennaVee), Jessica Phillips, Brady Phillips (Tori), Janae Phillips, Darcee Espinoza (Alan) and Deidra DeLaRiva-Riley (John Riley); his great grandchildren, Wesley Carrica, Kayla Sandoval (Marcos Trujillo), Jon Phillips, Addilinn Gauna-Phillips, Ryker Comparoni, Nikolai, LoriAna, AloraLee, KrisaLynn, AvaLeah, Zachariah, Zorian Phillips, Brax, Emraella and Jhett Espinoza; and his sisters, Alice McMecken and Beverly Lusk (Keith).
