He is survived by: his wife Dee Rangel; his children, Elizabeth McLaughlin (Daniel), John Michael Rangel, Carlos Rangel and Ezequiel Rangel; his grandchildren, Jeaveh Rangel, Daevion Oyer, Cataleya McLaughlin and Jay'Von Rangel; his siblings, Veronica Terrazas, Sarah Rangel, Ruben Marinelarena (Marci) and Alicia Lucero (Gary); his aunts, Cruz Rangel, Sally Ortega and Pauline Rangel; and his uncle Karl Grasmick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
