She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Casias and Felicita Casias (Cruz); her husband Jose Romero; and her son Charles Powell. She is survived by: her children, Virginia Imperial (Lawrence) of Santa Fe, NM, Dorothy Rivera (Ignacio) of Phoenix, AZ, Louis Casias of La Junta, Kenny Powell (Sharla) of Rapid City, SD, Robert Powell of La Junta and Shirley Torres of La Junta. She is also survived by 2 sisters; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
