Though Alvino may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Alvino touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Torrez and Rosa Torrez; his brothers, Eddie, Gilbert, Tim, Pedro, Joe and Blas; and his brother-in-law Michael Ayala.
He is survived by: his sisters, Catalina Harris (James) of Plano and Ledia Ayala of Leota, Kansas.. He is also survived by 11 great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peacock Memorial Chapel (109 E. 4th Street, La Junta, CO 81050). A prayer will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Parish (518 W 3rd St, La Junta, CO 81050). A Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
