He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Thomas and Deanna Carter Thomas; and his father-in-law Howard Baetge. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Baetge of La Jara; his children, Deslie Medina (Milo) of La Jara and Trevor Thomas (Ashlee); his grandchildren, Collin, Paislyn, Railey, Lynix, Jesse, Kenzie, Sawyer, Aria, Rylnn, Henlee and Khloe; and his siblings, Marvin Thomas (Sandi), Ranae Greene (Bennett), Rochelle Anderson (Ben), Trenna Santos (Adam), Charlotte Coombs (Nathan) and Russ Thomas (Nicole). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
