He was predeceased by: his parents, Jaqueline and Jerrold; his stepmother Lois; his brother Brett Shake; his brothers-in-law, James and Gerald Jones; and his father-in-law Jerry Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Jodie Ann Cyrus; his daughters, Marissa Cyrus and Andrea Cyrus Medina; his grandchildren, Carolina and Lukas Snider (Cyrus); and his siblings, Kerry Cyrus (Iryna), Melissa Gentry, Lou Ann Martin (Tim) and Lorrie Penrod (Dave). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
