She was predeceased by: her parents, John Murphy and Ruth Murphy; her parents-in-law, Mike Romero and Virginia Romero; and her sister-in-law Carol McKay.
She is survived by: her sons, Ken Romero, Tim Romero (Corina) and Paul Romero (Michelle) of Kremmling, CO; her family Judy; her husband Scott Hitchcock; her daughter Marcia Svensson (Steve) of Delta, CO; her siblings, Dan Murphy (Deb) of Kremmling, CO, Susie Murphy-Chavez of Laramie, WY, Mike Murphy (Tammy) of Rifle, CO and Linda Taylor (Roger) of Eagle Creek, OR; her grandchildren, Chris Overholt (Misty), Brittany Overholt (Kalib Block), April Overholt (Sherman Pritt), Natalie Svensson, Wes Romero and Michael Romero; and her great grandchildren, Zade Overholt, Tylinn Overholt, Jayden Overholt, Luana Overholt, Bradley Holland, Xavier Overholt, Avery Elle Svensson, Landon Romero and Violet Romero. She is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Children's Hospital of Denver.
