He was predeceased by: his parents, Palmer Metli and Jean Metli; his siblings, Steven and Angela; and his nephews, Michael, Thomas and Matthew.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his siblings, Michael (Marie) of Sioux Falls, SD, Brian (Barb) of Grand Junction, CO and Gina (Tom Riedner) of Maple Grove, MN; and his brother-in-law Hank Smith (Donna). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
