He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred E Berry and Mary G Berry. He is survived by: his children, Michael and Jennifer; his children-in-law, Julie and Eric; his brothers, Joe, Alfred and Jim; and his friend George. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his honor to a local nonprofit organization that George supported throughout his life in law enforcement and fire protection.
