Ewing Eugene Enyart Obituary

Ewing Eugene Enyart passed away on January 24, 2023 at his home in Kiowa, Colorado. Born in Logan Kansas on May 7, 1938 he moved to Colorado with his mother Taunette Marie (Cole)
Phillips, and his sister Virginia M. (Phillips) Etzel in 1944. His mother married Robert J. Enyart in 1937 and Ewing's name was changed from Phillips to Enyart, as was his sister Virginia's.
Ewing served in the Air Force and when he was honorably discharged he worked for the Littleton Fire Dept. for 39 years retiring in 1988. Ewing then moved to Elizabeth Colorado and
lived on his parent's farm enjoying the cattle, hogs, chickens and rabbits. In 1980 he married his long time love Jean Marie (Sheline) Campbell and they lived there until 2011 when they moved
to Kiowa Colorado.
Left to miss him dearly, his wife Jean of 42 years, her son and Ewing's step-son, Tony Campbell and his wife Lisa, their son Jason Campbell and his son Levi Campbell, Ewing's sister
Virginia Marie (Phillips) Etzel and her husband James, their children, Marty his son Austin and his daughter Virginia, also their daughter Kimberlynn and her daughters Nicole and Samantha, sister-in-law Mary, and sons Dale Jr., Marc and Sean.
Preceeding him in death was his mother Taunette Marie (Cole) Enyart, step-father Robert J. Enyart, Ewing's brothers Dale Enyart and Ronald Enyart
Ewing was a kind and gentle person who always had a friendly greeting for total strangers, an infectious smile and his favorite saying, 'Are you staying out of trouble today?' Working at Walmart
in Elizabeth as a greeter he made everyone feel welcome. He will be missed by many family members, friends and neighbors.
He has chosen Science Care for his arrangements. Compassus Hospice was kind enough to come to his home and avoid him needing to go to a hospital or care facility. Please consider
conttributing to either one or both. His remains will be cremated.
There will be no funeral as he wished.
