He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Scheidt and Ella Scheidt (Fode); his daughter Cammy Scheidt; and his siblings, Frank Walker, Henry Walker, Emil Scheidt and Betty Allen (Scheidt).

He is survived by: his wife Geri Scheidt (Pfennig); his son Corey Scheidt; his grandchildren, Casey Scheidt (Natalie) and Chelby Scheidt Rush (Eric); and his siblings, Larry Scheidt (Cheryl), Herman Scheidt, Christine Scheidt Raulston (Todd) and Shirley Bender.
