It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Albert Doherty of Kim, Colorado, who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Betty Irene Wooten; and his wife Carolyn. He is survived by: his son Joe Doherty (Lisa); his grandsons, Sean Doherty (Siera) and Matthew Doherty (Jentry Patrick); his great grandchildren, Jameson and Theodore Doherty; his nieces and nephews, Steve Wooten (Joy), Doug Wooten, Barbara Pond (Randy), Dianne Clark (Cody), Denise Goodrich, Lea McAvoy (Shawn) and Lynda Goodrich (Karl Walk); and his brother-in-law Buddy Mayo (Kathy). He is also survived by numerous great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the KIM High School - Gymnasium (425 State St, Kim, CO 81049).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Kim Cemetery.
