He was predeceased by: his parents, Jakob and Katherine Hergenreder (Hergenreder); his wife Margarette Anna Lou Scholfield; and his siblings, Herman and Bertha Weimer.
He is survived by: his son Carl Hergenreder (Kathy); his granddaughters, Michelle Gonzalez (Edwardo) and Melissa Stein (Alan); and his brother Jake Hergenreder (Helen). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and 5 great, great-grandchildren.
