He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Kipp and Daisy L Kipp (Dean); and his brothers, William Kipp, Jr., Robert Kipp and Charles Kipp.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Mallory; his children, Sharon Lookhart (Bill) of LaSalle, CO, Danny Kipp (Glenda) of Keenesburg, CO and Darla Yamada (Gene) of Spring Hill, KS.; his grandchildren, Brandon Rodriguez of Greeley, Tasha Huckfeldt (Nate) of Greeley, Scott Kipp of Keenesburg, John Kipp of Trinidad, CO, Adam Yamada (Stephanie) of Commerce City, CO and Justin Yamada (Kayle) of Shawnee, KS.; his stepgrandchildren, Danny Lookhart of Greeley, Dustin Lookhart of Evans and Tasha Williamson of Fort Collins; and his siblings, Paul of Pinedale, Eva Davis of Greeley and Cecelia Warren of Cedaredge. He is also survived by 6 great granddaughters, 3 step great granddaughters and 2 step great grandsons.
