He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ladislado Martinez and Maria Martinez (Paz); his wife Sara Alejos; his daughters, Sally Martinez of Julesburg and Susan Martinez; and his grandchildren, Dominica Cassilas of Julesburg and Edward Pacheco. He was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his memory for later designations.
