It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Blochowitz of Julesburg, Colorado, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on March 20, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Blochowitz and Lillie Blochowitz (Geistlinger); and her brother Lyle Blochowitz. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Kay Blochowitz of Julesburg; her niece Connie Brown (Bob) of Crook; her nephews, Kyle Blochowitz (Jennifer) of Julesburg and Kody Blochowitz (Heidi) of Julesburg; and her cousins, Carolyn Gerk of Julesburg and Butch Blochowitz (Pam) of Julesburg. She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial account has been established in Shirley's memory at Pinnacle Bank with the intent to support a scholarship.
