He was predeceased by: his parents, Meliton Sr. Sandoval and Virginia Sandoval Sr. (Ramos); his daughter Alaina Babe Sandoval; his grandchildren, Ariana Wright and Nathaniel Sandoval; and his siblings, Albert, Gloria, Irene, Victor, Mike and Angie.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sandoval of Ogallala; his children, Angelo, Emily, Raymond, Amanda, Gloria, Sara, Santos and Robert; and his siblings, Helen, Daniel and Madeline.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Prairie Hills Funeral Home of Julesburg (310 W 5th St, Julesburg, CO 80737). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (606 W 3rd St, Julesburg, CO 80737).
A memorial has been established in Mel's memory for later designation.
