He was predeceased by: his grandfather Roy A. Benson; and his sister Janee D. Benson. He is survived by: his wife Amanda Hastings; his stepmother Jan Benson of Julesburg, CO; his mother Catherine Benson of Colorado Springs; his brother Jason (Angie Benson); his brother Caleb Benson of Julesburg; his grandmother Elvira Benson of Sterling; and also Saria of Julesburg. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
