He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex G. Lei and Eva Lei (Beahm); and his siblings, Herbert Lei, Arnold, Melvin, Marilyn, Jim and Caroline.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Kay Watson of Julesburg, CO; his children, Gary, Ed, Brian, Paula and Dan Lei of Julesburg; his siblings, Lorraine Shelton of Julesburg, CO, Harvey Lei of Yuma, AZ, Roland Lei of Eaton, CO and Ernest Lei of Liveoak, FL; and his great grandchildren, Troy, Jacob, Alex, Jessica, Travis, Trevor, Levi, Damin, Davis May, James, Haillie and Eli Lei.
