He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bainum and Mary "Louise" Bainum Sr. (Radulovich); his son Chris Bainum; and his sister Donna Kaufman. He is survived by: his grandson Ryan; his wife Patricia Bainum of Julesburg; his daughter Rhonda Palic (Daniel) of Ovid, CO; his grandsons, Josh and Matthew; and his sister Leah McAndrews of Brighton, CO. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established in George's memory for later designation, with the intent to support animal advocacy.
