It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwight Lee Wardrip of Julesburg, Colorado, born in Gregory, South Dakota, who passed away on November 7, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Wardrip and Lottie Wardrip (Houdeshell); his sons, Lonnie and Wyatt; his stepdaughter Kimberly Hartly; and his siblings, Lorn, Murton, Elverton, Delmer, Omea Arp and Donna Jansen.
He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Ferguson (Pat); his son Wade; his wife Inez Harrison Wardrip (Leetch) of Julesburg, Colorado; his daughter-in-law Lori Wardrip of Eufaula, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Lonnie, Jr., Nicole, Spencer, Brandon, Benjamin, Brent and Heather Hurley; and his stepchildren, Valerie Huestis, Houston Harrison and Paula Harrison. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
