He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Whitten and Emma Whitten (Howerter); his sister Jolene Joyce Whitten; and his brother-in-law Dennis Zimmerman. He is survived by: his siblings, Larry Whitten of Fort Collins, CO, Doug Whitten (Judy) of Lakewood, CO, Judy Zimmerman of Big Springs, NE and Cheryl Anderson (Vic) of Loveland, CO; and his nieces and nephews, Kiffany Armstrong (Ehrin), Greg Whitten, Brian Zimmerman (Kandi), Stacy Zimmerman Brandt, Tom Zimmerman (Becky), Heather Dircshl (Scott), David, Jim and Lindsey Anderson.
Memorials are suggested to the Julesburg United Methodist Church in memory of Dennis.
