He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Stephen and Ara Lucinda Bayles (Smith); his spouse Edvina "Eddie" Irene Roth; and his siblings, Fred Jr., Frances Schwab Liesinger, John, Jean Bennett and Vivienne Bayles.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Connar; his children, Barbara Taylor of Loveland, Tamara Thode of Julesburg and Daryl Bayles of Julesburg; his grandchildren, Brooke Gibbs (Chris) of Loveland, Billy Thode (Jodie Leonhardt) of Otis and Andy Thode (Natasha) of Julesburg; his great grandchildren, Parker, Avery Gibbs, Brianna, Demi, Tegan, Cienna, Shianne, Jayson Thode, Madi, Zoie Krejewski-Stoll, Nolan Stoll, Gavin and Chloe Thode; and his sister Mary Kay Trujillo.
Family graveside service 11 a. m. Saturday, January 9 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, wearing masks and observing social distancing.
