She is survived by: her parent Leslie George; her husband James Everett; her son Jamie (Samantha); her grandchildren, Peyton James Culver, Clayton Michael Culver, Mason Scott Nielsen and Emerie Willow Everett; her daughter Lauren Everett of Park City, KS.; her stepmother Carol Laffery of Clay Center, KS.; and her siblings, Mary Laffery Ortiz (Michael) of Rockford, Les Laffery of Rockford, Drew Laffery (Karla), Andrew Laffery (Theresa) of Tonganoxie, KS., Dawn Cook (Joe) of Clay Center, KS. and Daniel Laffery (April) of Mulvane, KS..
After receiving word that a donor was available on May 9, 2024, Daphne accepted the donated heart and went into surgery the following day.
