He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil James and Beula Pearl Hill (Durham); and his siblings, Lola Bakke and Roger Hill. He is survived by: his wife Marah Jane McWethy; his children, Judy Hill (Dave Huckins), Janice Herrera (Mario), Jeff (Renea), Jim (Nicole), Joan Hill-Krayenhagen (Brian) and John (Julia); and his brother David Hill. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild.
He is also a member of Ducks Unlimited and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
