It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Hernandez of Iliff, Colorado, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hernandez and Antonia Hernandez (Padilla); his grandparents, Manuel, Antonia Hernandez, Edward and Filemana Padilla; his siblings, Phillip, Raymond Jr., Ernie, Richard and Martha Ramirez; and his brothers-in-law, Benjamin Ramirez and Gayle Tilghman.
He is survived by: his wife Felisa; his children, Sophie Hernandez of Palm Springs, CA, George Hernandez (Rhonda) of Crook, Lila Hernandez (Danny Hoeft) of Broomfield, CO, Steve Hernandez (Lynn Sullivan) of Ellensburg, WA and Andrew Hernandez (Ann) of Iliff; his grandchildren, Makeya, Alexia (Ross Skeels), Trista, Kyra, Houston, Preston, Taylor, Joey and Ally; his sister Helen Blake (Sam); his sister-in-law Diane Hernandez; and his siblings, Corinna Schmidt (Arlen), Christina Archuleta (Les), George Hernandez (Monica), Dora Tilghman and J. David Hernandez (Carolyn).
