She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bennie; her brother Benny Samora; her parents, Max Samora and Fedelina Samora; her sons, Jimmy Lee, Alex (Shirley), Solomon (Josephine) and Bennie A. (Diana); her brothers, Leo and Rudy Samora; and also Fedelina. She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the San Ignatius church of Ignacio, Colorado.
