He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Naomi and Joshua; his spouse Brechen Currier; his foster children, Christy and Rocky; his wife Joy Schafer of Haxtun; his son Josh Schafer (Brechen) of Brighton; his granddaughter Camber Schafer of Brighton; his siblings-in-law, Delight Howes (Dave), Wabash, Merry Epperly (Roger), Unionville, Robert Siedenburg (Mary), Champaign and Richard Siedenburg (Cathy); his aunt Cleora Fix of Wray; and his uncle Kent Schafer of Pagosa Springs. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a charitable donation in Randy's honor toward the completion of the Phillips County Pavilion and Education Center.
