He was predeceased by: his parents, August Moellenberg and Elise Moellenberg; his parents-in-law, Robert Gay and Elaine Gay; his sister Lois Marie Hilzer; his brother-in-law Rodger Hilzer; and his nephew Rodger Scott Hilzer.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta; his daughter Gay (Jeff Uhland); his granddaughters, Tori and Mindi of Eads; his daughter Joy (Cody Akey); his granddaughters, Alaina and Railyn of Wray; his daughter Dell Rae (Mike Ciaravola); his grandson Dante (Kayla Hand) of Loveland; his siblings-in-law, Robert, Margaret Hagenbuch of Oak Creek and William Gay of Steamboat Springs; his nephews, Shane (Genny Hilzer) of Eaton, Shad Hilzer of Greeley and Todd (Sarah Hagenbuch); his great-nephew Trevor; his great-niece Amelia of Phippsburg; and his nieces, Shannon Hilzer of Greeley and Heidi (Mike Dowell) of Tampa, Fla.. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
