She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lee Evers and Irene Evers (Schuster); her significant other Carl Kovacovich; her children, Linda Zilar (David) of Edwards, CO and Dale Strabala (Jenny) of Indianapolis; her sisters, Janice Hendrickson (Scott) and Donna Fink (late Chester); and her grandchildren, Jeremy Zilar (Juliette), Kelly Fleischhacker (Curtis), Kaylin Zilar, Grace Strabala, Jack Strabala and Rose Strabala. She was also cherished by two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
