It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maye Gene Lee (Hugo, Colorado), who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maye Gene Lee to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Eugene Sanders and Lena Maye Greenfield Sanders; her siblings, Noreen Inez Sanders, William Cordell Sanders and Wilburn Burton "Pete" Sanders; her husbands, Arthur Snodgrass and Dock Lee; her stepson Joe Pat Lee; and her stepgrandson Sean Lee.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Tom Lee, Sylvia Lee Beville and Peggy Lee. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (312 5th St, Hugo, CO 80821). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hugo United Methodist Church (126 5th St, Hugo, CO 80821). A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (12 Co Hwy 109, Hugo, CO 80821).
