He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Gookin and Everdena Gookin (Heidi Clayton). He is survived by: his daughter Cherie Hughes (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Izebelle, Lexi, Gavin Hughes, David Clayton (Shirlene), Casey Saylor (Christian) and Kirk Osborn (Chongsuk).
