He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Arfsten and Jeanette Arfsten; his wife Margaret Ann Weigel; and his siblings, Dale, Dennis Arfsten (Ilene), Judy Halford and June White.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Greg Arfsten (Lori) of Littleton, CO and Michelle Tatman (Brad) of Gilbert, AZ.; his grandchildren, Jennifer Arfsten, Sean Arfsten, Samuel Arfsten, Shane Tatman and Megan Tatman; his godchildren, Bob Angelo, Brennan Ramos, Dominic Mills, Bob Debus, Bonnie and Louie Ramos; and his parents-in-law, Norma Debus (George), Pete Weigel (Myrna), Joyce Lamb and Sandy Selchert (Don).
