He is survived by: his wife Sally Hixon; his children, Chad Hixon (Angela) of Howard and Ashley Hixon of Nederland, CO.; and his siblings, Jon Hixon (Karen) of Storm Lake, IA. and Deana Riemer (Keith) of Lawerence, KS..
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Howard Volunteer Fire Department or Heart of the Rockies Home Health and Hospice.
