She was predeceased by: her parents, James Oren and Melinda Ivy Kurts (Johnson); her spouse Winferd L. Hopkins; her son Wayne Lee Hopkins; her son-in-law Randall Thompson; and her siblings, Lowell Kurts, Harold Kurts, Jesse Kurts, Rachel Kurts Corbett, Ruth Kurts Smith, Blanche Kurts Bear and Esther Kurts Anderson.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Thompson of Hotchkiss; her brother John Kurts of Lewiston, ID; and her grandchildren, Christi Palmer of Orlando, FL, Erick Thompson, Ethan Thompson (Amelia) of Albuquerque, NM and Shane Hopkins.
