He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman D. Tomky and Thecla Tomky (Briding); his wife Genevieve Lila Wulfekuhle; and his siblings, Herman Tomky (Mary), Orville Tomky (Loretta), Phyllis Chali (Tony), Thelma Tomky and Norma Pearson (Earl).
He is survived by: his children, Jim Tomky (Mary) of Amherst, CO, Bill Tomky (Chris) of Lamar, NE, Susan Castle (Larry) of Imperial, NE and Ken Tomky (Janet) of Lamar, NE; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Ramsey, A. J. Tomky, Elizabeth Tomky, Joseph Tomky, Mindy Mansfield, Dawn Castle, Evan Tomky and Aidan.
