She was predeceased by: her parents, Concepcion Duran and Brijida Cereceres; and her sister Manuela. She is survived by: her husband Jesus Manuel Ortega; her children, Hilda, Luis Carlos, Lupe, Jesus Manuel, Oscar, Maria Angelica and Christina Isabel; and her siblings, Ciria, Irene, Maria, Ismael, Benjamin and Leticia. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren.
