Viola Melcher Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Viola Melcher of Holly, Colorado, born in Dimmitt, Texas, who passed away on March 12, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Schacher and Frances Schacher (Drerup); and her brothers, Richard Schacher and Thomas Schacher. She is survived by: her husband Cal Melcher; her children, Jeannine Smith of Moore, SC, Keith Melcher (Helen) of McKinney, TX and Conni Martinez of Lamar, CO; her grandchildren, Amber Wolf (Garrett), Brittany Scott (Shane), Sami Martinez, Amelia Martinez and Charlie Martinez; her great grandchildren, Jeremiah Wolf and Baby Scott; and her siblings, Irene Acker of Amarillo, TX and Harold Schacher of Haltom City, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Holly Fire and Ambulance and/or Southeast Colorado Cancer Initiative (SECCI) either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
