She was predeceased by: her parents, Larance Hughes and Nellie Irene Stafford-Hughes; her former husbands, Richard Gideon and Leroy Robson; her husband Walter "Duke" Wardlow; her daughter Twyla Mapes; and her siblings, Ruby Huthinson, Alice Peters, Iva Wolgram, Elsie Burch, Carol Harms and Robert "Bob" Hughes.
She is survived by: her daughter Mavis Brian (Vance) of Holly, CO; her son-in-law Bob Mapes of Holly; and her stepchildren, B. J. Hughes (Rose) of Canon City, CO and John Hughes of Colorado Springs. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren.
