He was predeceased by: his mother Opal Stokes; and his adoptive father Frank Stokes. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Stokes of Holly, Colorado; and his daughter Stephanie Stokes of Cripple Creek, Colorado. He is also survived by five grandchildren; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, as well as many other relatives and a host of friends.
